Appearance: Artemis is a bit pudgy, but not overweight. she always looks like she's worried with her upturned eyebrows. She has long, blond hair which she likes to braid, and often puts up in a high ponytail. Very outstanding ears, has a potato nose. Arty is a bit of a fashionista, loves to wear high heels and is the biggest shoe freak. However, you can more often find her wearing functional clothes like a T-shirt because she often gardens and tending to her shop, and she would never, ever! get her apparels dirtied with soil. in this she is in a bit of a dilemma. Freckles cover most of her body, red, blushed cheeks. Often found with dirt on her hands from gardening.

Artemis might appear shy with her insecure behaviour and concerned look, but that is exactly to the contrary. She is a very happy and outgoing person and greets everyone with a smile, even though it might not cover her whole face. She easily frets over nothing. You could say she has an easily stressed nature.

She feels most at peace when she's at work or tending to her garden and her flowers, and wont let her insecurity to get in her way, or scare customers off. don't try to haggle with her, she drives a hard bargain.

She doesn't like people treating others badly and will stand up for others if anything like this would happen, even though there would be a very stressful and scared war going on inside of her.
She's very clumsy, not a day goes by without her getting at least one scrape or a bruise, though she'll just laugh it off.

History:

Artemis was born a Pichu and her first few years she lived with her parents out in the wild. her mother often used Sweet Kiss on her, dazing her for a bit, but Arty found it mostly funny. Artemis quickly adopted this behaviour, and often used this on her father to his great dismay.

When Artemis was about three, she evolved to Pikachu. One day she was out exploring and having fun, she encountered a trainer. With only Sweet Kiss in her arsenal, it didn't take long before the trainer captured her. Artemis never got to see her parents again, and she often thought about this day.

The trainer was really kind to Artemis and kept Artemis for many years, and honed her skills and abilities, learning her new moves. One of those moves was Electro Ball which she learned as she levelled up, quickly becoming her favourite move.

However, her Trainer got sick and gave Artemis away, unable to take care of her no more.

Artemis' new trainer had great vision for her. he learned her some new moves, and his greatest aspiration was to go the Victory Road and win against the Elite Four. It took them several years, and Artemis grew in levels, learning new moves like Slam, and the team was soon ready to take on the Victory Road. Along their journey, her trainer had grown even more fanatic and set on winning, and was starting to treat his Pokemon pretty badly in training and in battles. This is when he thought Artemis Wild Charge with a TM disk. Ready to take on the victory road, believing such a powerful move would help him on his way, not caring that the move would hurt her too.

Finally on the victory road, Artemis fought to the best of he abilities, often being forced to using Wild Charge, hurting herself in the process, but her trainer pressed her on, ignoring her pain still. Finally they were at the end of the road, facing off one last challenge. her Trainer had now grown cocky, thinking he was unbeatable, but his other Pokemon dropped one by one, until only Artemis was left. Ignoring that Artemis was too at her limit, he forced her to use Wild Charge again. Artemis was beaten down and badly wounded, her trainers pride shattered.

Artemis didn't even have time to recover from her injuries before her trainer chased her off, being under the belief she was the fault. being under-levelled and weak. yes, that had to be the reason, Artemis had to go.

So Artemis did, wandering around, resting where she could, until she finally ended up in Lumiose city, exhausted and worn out.

She was then taken in by a human who tended her wounds, and showed her some kindness. Though, this human turned out to be a Pokemon who could change forms. Amazed by this Artemis tried to find out how this all worked, and soon found out about the dittech device, and her new friend, just up and gave her one, on one condition, that she had to come and find out more about the "Ursa Ring".

So Artemis did, and it took only a week before she too joined.

Not soon after she started up her new human life in Lumiose, truly believing in the Ursa Ring and peace with humans, she found solace in that both her trainers had been good to her, and good people, at least in the beginning... And that she harboured no bad feelings towards them, or other humans.
The Ursa Ring helped Artemis out a lot with her new human life. First off they helped her set up a shop in Lumiose city so she could easily fit into human society. Now she owns a small flower shop where she lives on the second floor and tends to a small garden on her roof terrace.

Relationships: None so far.

Extras: Often keeps her hands in front of herself, like a protective mechanism. Easily falls into a habit of knitting her fingers together like she is fretting or scared. Bites her lips.

She doesn't like to battle and haven't used her moves since she escaped from her trainer.

Role-Play Example:

Artemis was out in the streets. it was a nice, hot day out, barely a cloud to be seen on the sky. She was lost in thoughts as she wandered. Her thoughts stuck on plants, as they often were. She wondered how long it would take before her new sunflowers would bloom. she had planted them just week ago, but she was already all giddy about them. She loved sunflowers, they were the prettiest flowers, she thought. Passing by a fashion store, Artemis halted and turned around again, clapping her hands together and smiled. what a nice dress that was in the window! maybe she should go inside and buy it? she had just the pair of shoes to go together with it too. Artemis stood there on the street for so long people who passed her started to stare, and soon Artemis became aware. "oh um!!" she stuttered out to a very sourly man passing her buy. "sorry, didn't mean to be in the way!" she quickly started walking the other direction, her face flushed and writhing her hands in front of herself.
